It seems unimaginable to live without air conditioning in the South. But imagine it anyway - no air conditioning, just relentless summer sun, day after day. You had two remedies, a thunderstorm or a shade tree. But not at the same time!
While sitting under the tree we reaped the benefits of the deep shade, sometimes for hours at a time. We laughed, we cried, we argued, we kissed, we played games, we told secrets, we made plans. And then we reluctantly left while already looking forward to our next visit.
Concerning the use of AI
I use AI to generate images, specifically MidJourney. My belief is that the images add to the story being told. There may be stories that I write creatively to match the image. I find that approach to be quite fun while unleashing my imagination.
I do not use AI to write the stories. I may decide to one day and if I do I will note it in the title.
